Always Learning Guitar Studio Policies

  • Lesson Format

Individual lessons meet weekly for 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

Lessons are ongoing throughout the year, organized into fall and spring semesters and a shorter summer session. You may start at any time.

Suzuki participants will also register for a weekly group class. This schedule will be assigned after registration. The Suzuki group class is only open to students also enrolled in individual lessons.

    Missed lessons:

Please do not come to your lesson if you are sick - stay home and feel better! We will discuss a plan for this situation after registration. Options include meeting remotely or rescheduling. If you need to miss a lesson for any other reason, I offer one make-up per semester (usually on a Saturday) as long as I receive notice of the absence 24 hours in advance. Otherwise the lesson will be billed as usual.

There are no make-ups for group classes. However, materials and information will be provided to help you keep up with the class.

  • Fees

Tuition is billed monthly in advance.

Lessons may begin at any point in the semester. Continuing enrollment is assumed. Two weeks’ notice is required for discontinuation of lessons.

    30 minute lessons - $30/week

    45 minute lessons $45/week

    60 minute lessons - $60/week

Suzuki program participants have an additional required activity fee for each semester:

    Fall (August-December) - $150

    Spring (January-May) - $150

    Summer (June-July) - $60

  • Respect

This studio is a peaceful and safe space. I ask that you help to nurture an attitude of positivity and respect in all actions and communications, both in the classroom and during home practice. This is the responsibility of teacher, students, and supporting adults.

  • Inclusion

This studio values inclusion and diversity and will not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, and all other qualities that contribute to personal identity.

Students, parents, supporting adults, and others who enter the studio/classroom are expected to be open to communication about inclusion and demonstrate respect for diversity at all times.
